Community Meeting Concerning Gas Drilling on May 21, 2008

The Front Range Environmental Resource Coalition (“FRERC”) will hold a public meeting at 7:00 p.m. on May 21, 2008 at the Pinecrest Events Center to discuss recent events since the public meeting held on April 1, 2008.  Representatives of FRERC will inform the public on information and events concerning the exploratory gas drilling planned to take place near Mt. Herman in the Pike National Forest.  The agenda will include the following:
 

  1. Who comprises FRERC and what we are trying to accomplish
  2. Understanding the potential ramifications of gas drilling on Mt. Herman
  3. What we have been doing to try to get our hands around this issue and what we now believe we know
  4. Contacts we have been making
  5. What you can and should be doing.
  6. What’s likely to happen next and when
